Round-up of Summer 2006

21 October 2006 Off By nonsavant

After a summer of neglect, this diary is wildly out of date. One of the main reasons for this is that I’ve not been doing much volunteering, but have been working and generally doing other things. Here’s a summery summary:

  • Had a long weekend’s holiday on Skye.
  • Spent most of July house-sitting near Aberfeldy – a great place to enjoy the amazing July weather, although I was worried the water supply was going to run out what with the lack of rain.
  • Spent most of August and September at home, helping my mum move from Glasgow to Orkney.
  • Left Orkney at the end of September to start volunteering again – more on this in a later post.

Various photographs from the summer follow.
